Dreaming…..of Italy

Lighthouse on the Old Roman Port

Lighthouse on the Old Roman Port ~ Ventotene Island

As I make my list of things to pack for my trip to Italy in two weeks, memories awash with vibrant colors and sun-warmed breezes from previous trips begin to flash through my mind. Captured images, special nooks and heart-stirring emotions become so real that I can almost reach out and touch them. Those special moments that have faded over time are regaining new life.

New experiences and adventures await and I am ready to embark. I hope that each of you will come along with me. Enjoy the loveliness of Italy through my eyes, my senses, and my heart. I will loyally post photos and short updates to inspire you to dream. My hope is that you will make your dreams come true!

  1. Yes, in May my thoughts turn to Italy too. That’s when we return to our home in Le Marche after a long winter absence.

I spent 2 months in Italy for a work-placement (in Sicily) and did 4 trips there , I love this country so much … (is that original for a guy reading this blog ? πŸ˜‰ )

@ValΓ©rie, if you read this comment, could you please give me your e mail address ? I would like to live in Italy in like 5/6 years but people are telling me not do it due to the economy in Italy and so on … I am not the kind of people to avoid a dream or any kind of project only because of somebody but I think it’s true … could we speak about it ?

  5. Buona vacanza! I live in Italy and I have to admit I miss it when I go back home to visit family and friends. It’s much better when they come to visit me in Puglia! And I can show them this bel paese!
